ListMix for Android Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

The developer receives nothing about you. ListMix has no accounts and no servers of its own, and no advertising or tracking code of any kind.

What the app stores, and where

Your lists, the items on them and your finished runs are saved on your phone, in the app's own storage. Nothing is sent to the developer, and there is no ListMix server for it to be sent to.

Sync through your Google Drive

Sync is optional and off until you turn it on, when the app first opens or later in About → Sync with Google Drive. Turned on, ListMix asks Google for one permission (drive.appdata): its own hidden app-data folder in your Google Drive. It cannot see, open or change any of your other files, and it does not ask for your name, email address or profile.

Your lists, items and runs are copied into that folder, with a random identifier made on the phone to keep each phone's copy apart. Only ListMix can read the folder. The data travels directly between your phone and Google over an encrypted connection; the developer never receives it and cannot read it. Google holds it under Google's privacy policy.

ListMix's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Android backup

Android's own Auto Backup may copy the app's lists and settings into your Google account's backup, so they come back on a new or reset phone. Android and Google manage that backup; the developer cannot read it. You can turn it off in Settings → System → Backup (the path varies by phone).

What Google Play sees, which is not the same thing

Google Play shows the developer aggregated install and rating figures, and anonymised crash reports from phones whose owners share usage and diagnostics with Google. They come from Google Play, never from code inside ListMix, and you can switch them off in Settings → Google → Usage & diagnostics (the path varies by phone).

Tracking and advertising

None. ListMix contains no advertising, no attribution and no third-party analytics SDKs, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

ListMix has no account and no server, so there is nothing to ask the developer to delete: you delete your data yourself, in these steps.

  1. Stop syncing. In ListMix, open About and turn off Sync with Google Drive, on every phone that uses it. This removes ListMix's access to your Google Drive. You can also remove the access at myaccount.google.com/connections.
  2. Delete the copy in Google Drive. In Google Drive on the web, open Settings → Manage apps → ListMix → Options → Delete hidden app data. This deletes every list, item, run and phone identifier ListMix stored there.
  3. Delete what is on the phone. Uninstall ListMix, or clear its storage in Settings → Apps → ListMix → Storage. This deletes everything on that phone.

Nothing is kept by the developer, because nothing ever reached the developer. Google may take some time to remove deleted Drive data and phone backups from its own systems, under Google's privacy policy; the developer has no copy and no retention period of its own.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. It would only change because the app itself changed.
